Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with merchandising and freight processing tasks delegated by the Store Manager
• Supporting hiring, training, and development of store associates
• Performing all store functions and daily activities as directed
• Handling opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager
• Protecting store assets, including cash, and adhering to policies and safety guidelines
• Maintaining a professional environment with customers, staff, and supervisors
• Keeping all store areas, including stockroom and sales floor, organized and clean
• Assuming supervisory responsibilities for hourly associates when the Store Manager is absent
• Processing corporate directives and communications related to store activities
• Managing freight flow and inventory, including ordering and stocking merchandise
• Ensuring the sales floor is effective daily and planning merchandising strategies

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

• Prior retail and management experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift and transport up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work in a high-energy team environment
