Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist with all store functions and daily activities as directed by the Store Manager.
• Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Help protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to all policies and safety guidelines.
• Maintain a professional and friendly environment with customers, team members, and supervisors.
• Keep all areas of the store, including the stockroom and sales floor, organized and to company standards, including recovery.
• When the Store Manager is not present, take supervisory responsibility for all hourly associates.
• Process all corporate directives, including pull and hold/destroy, task compliance, and key survey information.
• Assist with receiving and returning DSD merchandise following VIP and DSD policies and procedures.
• Help manage freight flow and stock replenishment.
• Meet or exceed productivity standards.
• Assist in ordering, stocking, and maintaining merchandise, including frozen and refrigerated items.
• Maintain stockroom organization.
• Ensure the sales floor is sales-effective daily.
• Plan, merchandise, and maintain clip strips and power panels with sales-effective items.
• Assist in planning and implementing monthly sales plans.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

• Prefer prior retail and management experience.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to lift, bend, and transport merchandise weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
