Responsibilities include:

1. Assisting with merchandising and freight processing tasks delegated by the Store Manager.
2. Assisting with hiring, training, and developing store associates.
3. Supporting all store functions and daily activities as directed by the Store Manager.
4. Performing opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
5. Protecting and securing company assets, including cash.
6. Maintaining a professional environment with customers, staff, and supervisors.
7. Keeping store areas, stockroom, and sales floor to company standards, including recovery.
8. Providing supervisory oversight for hourly associates when the Store Manager is not present.
9. Processing corporate directives and store communications.
10. Handling receipt and return of merchandise and managing freight flow.
11. Meeting productivity standards and assisting with stock ordering and organization.
12. Ensuring the sales floor is sales-effective daily and maintaining merchandising displays.
13. Participating in planning and implementing sales strategies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift and transport up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
