Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with merchandising and freight processing tasks delegated by the Store Manager.
• Supporting hiring, training, and development of store associates as delegated.
• Assisting with all store functions and daily activities as directed by the Store Manager.
• Performing opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Protecting and securing all company assets, including cash.
• Adhering to all policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Maintaining a professional and friendly environment with customers, staff, and supervisors.
• Maintaining store areas to company standards, including recovery.
• Providing supervisory responsibility for hourly associates when the Store Manager is absent.
• Processing corporate directives and store communications.
• Assisting with merchandise receipt, return, and freight flow management.
• Meeting or exceeding productivity standards.
• Assisting with ordering, stocking, and maintaining merchandise and stockroom organization.
• Ensuring the sales floor is sales-effective daily.
• Planning and maintaining merchandising displays and sales planners.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to lift, bend, and transport merchandise up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
