Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Assist with all store functions and day-to-day store activities as directed by the Store Manager.
2. Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
3. Help protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
4. Follow all policies and safety guidelines.
5. Maintain a professional and friendly environment with customers, staff, and supervisors.
6. Keep all store areas, including the stockroom and sales floor, organized and clean.
7. When the Store Manager is absent, take supervisory responsibility for hourly associates.
8. Process all corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
9. Assist with receipt and return of merchandise, following company policies.
10. Manage freight flow and stock levels.
11. Meet or exceed productivity standards.
12. Order and stock merchandise, including frozen and refrigerated items.
13. Ensure the sales floor is effective daily and plan merchandising strategies.
14. Assist in planning and maintaining sales promotional displays and monthly sales plans.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift and transport merchandise weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
