Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities as directed by the Store Manager.
• Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Help protect and secure company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to all policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Maintain a professional and friendly environment with customers, employees, and supervisors.
• Keep all areas of the store, including the stockroom and sales floor, to company standards, including recovery.
• When the Store Manager is absent, take supervisory responsibility for hourly associates.
• Process all corporate directives related to store activities, such as Pull and Hold/Destroy, Task Compliance, and Key Survey information.
• Assist with receiving and returning DSD merchandise following VIP and DSD policies.
• Manage freight flow and ensure productivity standards are met or exceeded.
• Support ordering and stocking merchandise, including frozen and refrigerated items.
• Help maintain stockroom organization.
• Ensure the sales floor is sales-effective daily.
• Assist in planning, merchandising, and maintaining Clip Strips and Power Panels with sales-effective items.
• Participate in planning and implementing monthly Sales Planners.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to lift, bend, and transport merchandise weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
