Responsibilities:

• Assist with merchandising and freight processing tasks delegated by the Store Manager.
• Help with hiring, training, and developing store associates.
• Perform all store functions and daily activities as directed.
• Handle opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Protect company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to safety policies and maintain a professional environment.
• Maintain store areas to company standards, including recovery.
• When the Store Manager is absent, oversee hourly associates.
• Process directives such as Pull and Hold/Destroy and Task Compliance.
• Assist with receipt and return of DSD merchandise, following VIP and DSD policies.
• Manage freight flow and ensure sales floor effectiveness.
• Order, stock, and organize merchandise, including frozen and refrigerated items.
• Maintain stockroom organization and merchandising displays.
• Plan and implement sales strategies and monthly sales planners.

Minimum Requirements:

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
