Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with all operational tasks within the store as delegated by the Store Manager, focusing on front-end and sales floor operations.
• Supporting hiring, training, and development of store associates.
• Performing store functions and daily activities as directed.
• Handling opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Protecting company assets, including cash, and adhering to policies and safety guidelines.
• Maintaining a professional, friendly environment for customers, staff, and supervisors.
• Ensuring store areas, including stockroom and sales floor, meet company standards.
• Assuming supervisory responsibilities for hourly associates when the Store Manager is not present.
• Processing directives related to store activities and merchandise receipts and returns.
• Assisting with staffing coverage, sales floor management, cashiering, merchandising, signage, and supplies management.
• Managing store displays, seasonal areas, and promotional fixtures.
• Participating in creating weekly schedules and controlling expenses.
• Refilling store displays and maintaining checkout area to maximize sales.

Minimum Requirements:

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift and transport up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a high-energy team environment.
