Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with merchandising and freight processing tasks delegated by the Store Manager.
• Helping with hiring, training, and developing store associates.
• Performing all store functions and daily activities as directed by the Store Manager.
• Performing opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Protecting and securing company assets, including cash.
• Adhering to all policies and safety guidelines.
• Maintaining a professional environment with customers, staff, and supervisors.
• Ensuring all store areas meet company standards, including stockroom and sales floor.
• Providing supervisory responsibility for hourly associates when the Store Manager is absent.
• Processing directives like Pull and Hold/Destroy, Task Compliance, etc.
• Managing freight flow and assisting with merchandise ordering and stocking.
• Maintaining stockroom organization and sales floor effectiveness.
• Planning, merchandising, and maintaining sales-effective displays and planograms.

Minimum Requirements:

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to lift and transport merchandise up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
