Responsibilities include:

1. Assisting with merchandising and freight processing tasks delegated by the Store Manager.
2. Assisting with hiring, training, and developing store associates as delegated.
3. Supporting all store functions and daily activities as directed by the Store Manager.
4. Performing opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
5. Protecting and securing all company assets, including cash.
6. Adhering to all policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
7. Maintaining a professional and friendly environment with customers, subordinates, and supervisors.
8. Maintaining store areas to company standards, including recovery.
9. Taking supervisory responsibility for hourly associates when the Store Manager is absent.
10. Processing all corporate directives and store communications.
11. Managing freight flow and assisting with merchandise receipt and return.
12. Ordering and stocking merchandise, including frozen and refrigerated items.
13. Maintaining stockroom organization and ensuring the sales floor is sales-effective daily.
14. Planning and maintaining merchandising displays and sales planners.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

1. Prior retail and management experience preferred.
2. Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
3. Ability to lift, bend, and transport up to 50 lbs.
4. Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
