Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist with merchandising and freight processing tasks delegated by the Store Manager
• Assist with hiring, training, and developing store associates as delegated
• Support all store functions and daily activities as directed
• Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager
• Help protect and secure store assets, including cash
• Follow all policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
• Maintain a professional, friendly environment for customers, staff, and supervisors
• Keep all store areas, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards
• When the Store Manager is absent, assume direct supervisory responsibilities for hourly associates
• Process all corporate directives and store communications
• Assist with receipt and return of DSD merchandise, following VIP and DSD policies
• Support freight flow management
• Meet or exceed productivity standards
• Assist with ordering and stocking merchandise, including frozen and refrigerated items
• Maintain stockroom organization
• Ensure the sales floor is sales-effective daily
• Plan, merchandise, and maintain Clip Strips and Power Panels with sales-effective items
• Assist in planning and implementing monthly Sales Planners

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

• Prior retail and management experience preferred
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills
• Ability to lift, bend, and transport merchandise weighing up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment
