Responsibilities include:

1. Assisting with merchandising and freight processing tasks delegated by the Store Manager.
2. Helping with hiring, training, and developing store associates as delegated by the Store Manager.
3. Performing all store functions and daily activities as directed.
4. Handling opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
5. Protecting and securing company assets, including cash.
6. Adhering to all policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
7. Maintaining a professional and friendly environment for customers, subordinates, and supervisors.
8. Maintaining store areas, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards.
9. Providing supervisory responsibility for hourly associates when the Store Manager is not present.
10. Processing all corporate directives related to store activities.
11. Assisting with receipt and return of merchandise, following VIP and DSD policies.
12. Managing freight flow and ensuring productivity standards are met.
13. Ordering and stocking merchandise, including frozen and refrigerated items.
14. Maintaining stockroom organization.
15. Ensuring the sales floor is effective daily and planning/merchandising with sales-effective items.
16. Implementing monthly sales plans.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

1. Prior retail and management experience preferred.
2. Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
3. Ability to lift, bend, and transport merchandise weighing up to 50 lbs.
4. Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
