Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Assist with all store functions and day-to-day store activities as directed by the Store Manager.
2. Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
3. Help protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
4. Adhere to all policies and safety guidelines.
5. Maintain a professional and friendly environment with customers, subordinates, and supervisors.
6. Maintain store areas to company standards, including recovery and organization of stockroom and sales floor.
7. When the Store Manager is not present, assume direct supervisory responsibility for all hourly associates.
8. Process all SSC Corporate directives and related communications.
9. Assist with receipt, return of DSD merchandise, and freight flow management.
10. Meet or exceed productivity standards.
11. Assist with ordering, stocking, and maintaining merchandise, including frozen and refrigerated items.
12. Contribute to sales floor effectiveness through planning, merchandising, and maintaining clip strips and power panels.
13. Assist in planning and implementing monthly sales plans.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to lift, bend, and transport merchandise weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
