Responsibilities include:

1. Assisting with merchandising and freight processing tasks delegated by the Store Manager.
2. Supporting hiring, training, and development of store associates.
3. Performing all store functions and daily activities as directed by the Store Manager.
4. Handling opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
5. Protecting company assets, including store cash, and adhering to safety policies.
6. Maintaining a professional, friendly environment for customers, staff, and supervisors.
7. Keeping all store areas, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards.
8. Providing supervisory oversight for hourly associates when the Store Manager is absent.
9. Processing corporate directives and store communications.
10. Managing merchandise receipt, return, and freight flow.
11. Meeting productivity standards and assisting with inventory management.
12. Contributing to sales floor effectiveness through merchandising and planning.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Prior retail and management experience preferred.
2. Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
3. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a high-energy team environment.
