Job summary

SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment, at Busch Gardens Williamsburg, is seeking a Part-Time Merchandise Ambassador to create a welcoming guest experience in retail shops. You will assist guests with merchandise, share park information, and complete transactions with a positive attitude.

Ideal candidates are 16+ years old, with basic computer skills and the ability to learn POS systems; you’ll work in a fast-paced environment and support policy enforcement.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Basic computer skills and willingness to learn POS.
• Ability to handle cash and operate cash register.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests with merchandise selections.
• Provide park information and complete transactions.

What you get to do as a Part-Time Merchandise Ambassador:

As a Merchandise Ambassador, you’ll play a key role in defining our guest experience by creating a welcoming and engaging atmosphere for guests throughout our retail shops. You will assist guests with merchandise selections, provide park information, and complete transactions while enthusiastically displaying a positive attitude, high level of energy, and commitment to quality.

• Work in a team environment

• Ensure positive enforcement of park policies
• Operate cash register
• Maintain monies and sales information for audit and balance
• Follow proper cash handling procedures

What It Takes To Succeed

• Must be at least 16 years old
• Basic computer proficiency
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to learn/use point of sale (cash register) systems
• Ability to lift, carry, push and pull up to 40 lbs.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
