Qualifications

• MD/DO degree from a US/Canadian LCME/COCA-accredited school or ECFMG certification.
• Residency accredited by ACGME or AOA.
• Current unrestricted license in US or equivalent territory.
• Minimum of 1 year post-graduate experience in the last 2 years.
• Current BLS with Hands-On skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct medical histories and physical examinations.
• Review required medical tests and documents for consultations and histories.
• Secure health history from applicant and record findings.
• Assess medical documentation and render opinions on fitness for programs.
• Apply accession medical standards to determine suitability for military service.
• Comply with Privacy Act and HIPAA; participate in MEPS reviews.
• Access and update electronic medical records; communicate with providers.
