Akkodis is seeking MEP System Integration Manager for a Fulltime (75% to 100% Travel Based) job with a client. Ideally looking for The MEP Systems Integration Manager (MEP SIM) serves as a senior technical leader responsible for providing strategic oversight and cross-discipline coordination of mechanical, electrical, controls, and supporting systems across design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and turnover phases for mission-critical projects.
Salary Range
$170K/year to $190K/year - The salary may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
MEP System Integration Manager Job Responsibilities include:-
- The MEP Systems Integration Manager proactively identifies technical risks, validates system-level assumptions, resolves complex MEP challenges, and supports successful project delivery with a strong focus on:
- The MEP SIM will be self-directed on day-to-day work and receive high-level instruction on new projects, tasks, or assignments. Will execute and lead teams and projects, tasks, or assignments of complex scope. May coordinate activities of other personnel.

Requirements:
- Coordinate Owner Furnished Contractor Installed (OFCI) and Contractor Furnished Contractor Installed (CFCI) equipment activities, including vendor documentation reviews, technical submittals, installation sequencing, testing requirements, and commissioning readiness.
- Review engineering drawings, specifications, shop drawings, commissioning plans, owner standards, equipment criteria, and contract requirements to ensure compliance with project objectives and technical standards.
- Lead coordination efforts between contractors, vendors, commissioning agents, designers, client representatives, and project teams to support system integration, testing, startup, and acceptance activities.
- Support project reporting, technical documentation, risk assessments, operational readiness reviews, turnover activities, and continuous improvement initiatives that contribute to successful project outcomes.
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience that includes direct hands-on install, testing, validation, and troubleshooting of mechanical, controls, and electrical infrastructure systems.
- A minimum of eight years of progressive experience supporting MEP systems coordination, construction management, commissioning, quality management, equipment integration, or mission-critical project delivery activities.
- Strong working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, controls, and supporting systems within mission-critical environments including data centers, critical facilities, or complex infrastructure projects.
- Demonstrated experience supporting commissioning processes for electrical, mechanical, and controls systems, including startup, testing, validation, and turnover readiness activities.
- Strong understanding of constructability, operability, maintainability, serviceability, system integration principles, and operational risk management practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and manage complex technical challenges.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience coordinating OFCI and CFCI equipment programs, including vendor management, procurement coordination, technical reviews, installation oversight, and commissioning activities.
- Strong knowledge of mission-critical construction methodologies, redundancy strategies, performance requirements, monitoring systems, and reliability-focused design principles.
- Familiarity with NFPA 70E, OSHA requirements, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) programs, and health, safety, and environmental compliance standards within construction and critical facility environments.
- Experience utilizing Procore, BIM 360, Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), Bluebeam, Microsoft Office Suite, and related project management and construction collaboration tools.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor technical staff, develop project teams, and provide leadership across multiple concurrent construction and commissioning programs.
- Experience leveraging digital tools, automation technologies, data analytics, or AI-enabled solutions to improve workflows, operational processes, reporting capabilities, and project execution effectiveness.
Travel Requirements:
- Must have a valid driver's license and the ability to rent vehicles.
- 75-100% travel across the U.S. unless assigned to an extended project.
- Travel is defined as physically leaving home on behalf of business activities including but not limited to client sites, meetings with other employees, meetings for business development purposes, running errands on behalf of the business, attending industry conferences, etc.
- Travel may involve transportation by car or plane depending on the destination and nature of the business needs.

CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED
- Ability to achieve NFPA 70E and/or OSHA training as required.
