Job summary

ProSource Group in the United States is seeking experienced MEP Superintendents to lead field operations on large-scale data center projects nationwide. You will oversee mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and commissioning activities, coordinate subcontractors and vendors, drive schedules, ensure safety to OSHA standards, and manage startup, testing and turnover across multiple sites.

Role Overview

We are supporting a leading national General Contractor seeking experienced MEP Superintendents to join its rapidly expanding Data Center Division. This position offers the opportunity to lead field operations on large-scale mission-critical projects across the United States. The successful candidate will oversee all Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection, and Commissioning activities while ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. Candidates with direct data center experience are highly preferred; however, strong MEP Superintendents from healthcare, pharmaceutical, industrial, semiconductor, advanced manufacturing, and large-scale commercial construction backgrounds will also be considered.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day MEP field operations on active data center construction projects.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, and commissioning teams.
• Drive project schedules and ensure MEP milestones are achieved.
• Conduct daily site walks and proactively resolve field issues.
• Monitor quality control and ensure installations comply with project requirements.
• Lead safety initiatives and enforce company and OSHA standards.
• Coordinate startup, testing, commissioning, and turnover activities.
• Manage site logistics, manpower planning, and trade coordination.
• Work closely with Project Managers, Owners, Consultants, and Trade Partners.
• Provide regular reporting on project progress, productivity, and potential risks.

Requirements

• Experience as an MEP Superintendent, Mechanical Superintendent, Electrical Superintendent, General Superintendent, or similar leadership role.
• Strong understanding of Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection, and Commissioning systems.
• Data center experience preferred but not required.
• Proven ability to manage multiple subcontractors and complex project schedules.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• OSHA certification preferred.
• Willingness to travel or relocate to project locations as required.
