Job summary

LVI Associates represents a leading Owner's Representative delivering complex data center and mission-critical projects across North America. They are seeking an experienced MEP Superintendent to oversee field execution on hyperscale data centers and related facilities.

This is an excellent on-site opportunity for a construction professional who drives quality, safety, and schedule performance while coordinating with owners, contractors, and commissioning teams on industry-leading projects.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in MEP construction, field supervision, or superintendent roles.
• Experience delivering data center, mission critical, healthcare, pharmaceutical, or large-scale commercial projects.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, controls, and commissioning processes.
• Experience working for a general contractor, mission critical contractor, owner's representative, or developer.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and maintain strong site presence.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all MEP construction activities on-site from preconstruction through turnover.
• Monitor contractor performance, ensuring safety, schedule, and quality.
• Conduct regular site inspections and identify risks, delays, or quality concerns.
• Coordinate with general contractors, trade partners, design teams, and commissioning agents.
• Review progress against milestones and report to stakeholders.
• Verify installation compliance with drawings, specs, codes, and standards.
• Support startup, testing, commissioning, and project handover activities.
• Participate in meetings with owners, contractors, and subcontractors.
• Track and resolve field issues, RFIs, and conflicts.
• Promote best practices in safety, constructability, and project execution.

Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced MEP Superintendent to oversee field execution on hyperscale data center, mission critical, and advanced technology projects.

This is an excellent opportunity for a construction professional who enjoys being on-site, driving quality, safety, and schedule performance, while working directly with owners, contractors, and commissioning teams on industry-leading projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all MEP construction activities on-site from preconstruction through turnover.
• Monitor contractor performance, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, and to the required quality standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections and identify risks, delays, or quality concerns.
• Coordinate closely with general contractors, trade partners, design teams, and commissioning agents.
• Review construction progress against project milestones and provide detailed reporting to project stakeholders.
• Verify installation compliance with drawings, specifications, codes, and industry standards.
• Support startup, testing, commissioning, and final project handover activities.
• Participate in owner, contractor, and subcontractor meetings, ensuring clear communication across all parties.
• Track and resolve field issues, RFIs, and construction conflicts.
• Promote best practices in safety, constructability, and project execution.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in MEP construction, field supervision, or superintendent roles.
• Experience delivering data center, mission critical, healthcare, pharmaceutical, semiconductor, or large-scale commercial projects.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, controls, and commissioning processes.
• Experience working for a general contractor, mission critical contractor, owner's representative, or developer.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and maintain strong site presence.
• Knowledge of construction scheduling, quality control, and safety procedures.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively and work on project sites across the United States.

Preferred Qualifications

• Direct hyperscale or colocation data center experience.
• Familiarity with commissioning and startup activities.
• OSHA 30 certification.
• Engineering, Construction Management, or related technical background.
