Jobot is recruiting an experienced MEP Superintendent for a large ground‑up commercial/entertainment project in the Los Angeles area. You will oversee the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing scopes on-site, directing a team to keep work on schedule and within budget.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in MEP supervision, deep MEP system knowledge, and a proven track record with complex projects. This role offers excellent compensation, benefits, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years as an MEP superintendent or similar role in construction.
• Extensive knowledge of MEP systems including piping, pumps, mechanical and electrical components.
• Proven experience with structural components such as retaining walls and site work.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for diverse teams.

As the Permanent MEP Superintendent, you will be a pivotal player in our construction team, overseeing the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) aspects of our projects. This role is crucial to ensuring the successful execution of our projects, from start to finish. You'll be working with a dynamic team of professionals, dedicated to delivering superior quality to our clients. You will be responsible for coordinating and directing all MEP-related activities on the job site, ensuring that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to leave a lasting impact on our company and the construction industry as a whole. Large Ground up Project-Experience with large Aquatic builds a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the MEP installation process, including the coordination of materials, manpower, equipment, and tools.
• Manage and supervise the work of the MEP team, including pipe fitters, electricians, and other skilled labor.
• Ensure adherence to all safety and quality standards, as well as compliance with all relevant codes and regulations.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop and implement project plans and schedules.

• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to the MEP systems, including pipe systems, pumps, and electrical and mechanical components.
