Job summary

Gray Construction is seeking a Site Manager, MEP to join the Field Operations Team. This position is field/project based and requires coordinating on-site construction activities, managing safety and quality, and supporting the MEP project manager across subs, schedules, and estimates.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial projects, leadership abilities, and the capacity to read and interpret drawings, contracts, and financial reports.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent; 10+ years in construction, or 15+ years with rising responsibility.
• Experience in light/heavy industrial sectors preferred.
• Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and problem solving skills.
• Must read and interpret drawings, financial reports, and contracts.

Responsibilities

• Assist MEP Project Manager in locating and evaluating subs, vendors, and suppliers.
• Assist in developing scopes of work for MEP review and approval.
• Help develop MEP project schedule and prepare estimates for self-performed work.
• Coordinate and manage on-site construction activities from pre-start to completion.
• Schedule work including subcontractors and track productivity and quantities.
• Review drawings (P&IDs, Mechanical, Electrical, Shop, Architectural, Structural) and maintain current set.
• Assist in pricing and drafting changes and change orders for review by MEP PM.
• Ensure customer satisfaction and uphold safety and quality standards.
