Job summary

Kimley-Horn is seeking an Experienced Revit Operator to join our MEP team in Reno, NV. You will model mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems to produce site plans and construction drawings for Kimley-Horn projects.

Responsibilities include leading clash detection, incorporating review comments, and maintaining drawing databases while adhering to company standards. A proactive, independent team player with strong communication is ideal.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (associates degree preferred).
• 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in Autodesk, REVIT MEP preferred.
• Detail oriented, professional attitude, good communication, team player, self-starter.
• Strong work ethic, interpersonal communication/writing skills and desire to learn.
• Ability to work independently and with a team.

Responsibilities

• Model mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems to generate site plans and construction drawings.
• Design and produce sets of plans; implement and manage AutoCAD/REVIT drafting standards.
• Lead cross-discipline clash detection during design.
• Incorporate reviewer comments and update designs accordingly.
• Assist in maintaining drawing database.
• Perform routine data accuracy checks.
• Familiarize with Kimley-Horn practices, procedures, and standards.
