Kimley-Horn is seeking an experienced Revit Designer to join our Structures team in Seattle, Washington. The role focuses on structural design and drafting using REVIT, with responsibility for developing drawings, quality checking, and coordinating activities to meet schedules.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of relevant experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent (associates degree preferred).
• Ability to set up and manage printing/plotting settings.
• Advanced knowledge and proficiency in Autodesk or Bentley products.
• Strong work ethic, interpersonal communication/writing skills and desire to learn.
• Ability to work independently and with a team.
• Willingness to mentor and teach others.
• Detail oriented, professional attitude, good communication, team player, self-starter.

Responsibilities

• Develop technical drawings and plans using REVIT software.
• Perform quality checks on drawings and plans of substantial complexity.
• Coordinate work activities to maintain schedules and ensure quality control.
• Possibly supervise and train REVIT staff.
• Maintain drawing database.
• Understand engineering principles and suggest design changes.
• Develop familiarity with Kimley-Horn's practices, procedures, and standards.
