The Walsh Group in DuPont, WA seeks an MEP Quality Manager I for a federal construction project. You will implement and run the Quality Management System, ensuring design and construction align with contract requirements, policies, and procedures.

Lead quality processes, mentor staff, and drive continuous improvement on safety, risk and performance. Responsibilities include audits, KPI reporting, inspections, and coordination with owners, consultants, and labs.

Qualifications

• AEC Bachelor’s degree is preferred or equivalent field experience; current certification required.
• USACE/NAVFAC/NRC Construction Quality Management certification preferred but not required.
• Industry certifications for testing and inspection to verify tests and procedures.
• Limited travel for projects as necessary.
• Level 1 QCM qualification.
• Minimum 7 years of AEC experience, with 3 years in a quality role.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, problem solving, prioritization and time management.
• Knowledge of standards, specifications and publications related to the duties.
• Salary: $110,000 - 150,000 DOE.

Responsabilités

• Quality champion for project(s), ensuring QA duties, material management, documentation and close-out.
• Coaches, mentors and trains project staff in quality management principles and requirements.
• Leads quality processes: work planning, pre-activity meetings, material management, QIRs, follow-up inspections.
• Establishes, monitors and reports KPIs and QIRs; analyzes trends and improves performance.
• Audits project quality programs and provides feedback on non-conformances and relationships.
• Directs inspection, testing and documentation; schedules with operations, consultants, labs and client.
• Creates inspection/test and QC plans; reviews material specs such as mix design and thermal control.
• Implements risk management strategies to improve profitability and efficiency.
• Maintains relationships with owners, clients, subcontractors and stakeholders.
• Supports site safety compliance and monitors quality costs and rework.
