Job summary

TYG is partnering with a leading design-build construction firm to appoint an experienced MEP Project Manager for a major data center build in the Dallas market. This hands-on leadership role covers the full lifecycle of MEP delivery, from equipment installation through commissioning and handover.

You will lead the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing scope across the project, coordinate with GC teams and commissioning agents, manage budgets and schedules, and ensure safety and quality standards

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an MEP Project Manager on data center or mission-critical projects.
• Experience supervising MEP commissioning from start to finish.
• Hands-on installation oversight of major MEP equipment.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems for data centers.
• Leadership and communication skills.
• Degree in construction management, engineering, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all MEP scopes across the project lifecycle, from design coordination through installation and closeout.
• Supervise installation of MEP equipment on-site, ensuring compliance with design specs and client standards.
• Coordinate with GC teams, subcontractors, engineers, and commissioning agents to keep schedules and quality on track.
• Manage MEP budgets, change orders, and cost forecasting.
• Review RFIs, submittals, and shop drawings for MEP systems.
• Ensure safety protocols across all MEP work.
• Track project schedules and resolve delays or conflicts in MEP sequencing.
• Lead progress meetings and provide regular reporting to senior stakeholders.
• Maintain quality control and punch-list management through turnover.
• Build relationships with subcontractors, vendors, and client representatives.

We're looking for an experienced MEP Project Manager to lead the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing scope on a large-scale data center construction project. This is a hands‑on leadership role for someone who has been through the full lifecycle of mission‑critical MEP delivery - from equipment installation through commissioning and handover.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate all MEP scopes of work across the project lifecycle, from design coordination through installation and closeout
• Supervise and verify installation of MEP equipment on-site, ensuring compliance with design specifications, codes, and client standards
• Coordinate closely with GC teams, subcontractors, engineers, and commissioning agents to keep schedules and quality on track
• Manage MEP budgets, change orders, and cost forecasting
• Review and manage RFIs, submittals, and shop drawings for MEP systems
• Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols across all MEP work
• Track project schedules and proactively resolve delays or conflicts in MEP sequencing
• Lead progress meetings and provide regular reporting to senior project stakeholders
• Maintain strong quality control and punch‑list management through project turnover

What We're Looking For
