Our client is a large, established general contractor seeking a Senior MEP Project Manager to lead electrical/MEP scopes on a major data center project in Texas.

This role requires 7+ years of experience, managing $20M+ electrical scopes, and the ability to coordinate with a broad set of stakeholders while traveling across Texas to support project delivery.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience managing large-scale electrical construction projects.
• Experience as an MEP Manager with a General Contractor or Senior PM with an electrical contractor.
• Proven experience managing $20M+ electrical scopes.
• Willing to travel and work on projects throughout Texas; strong communication and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead the project management and execution of major electrical/MEP scopes on a large-scale data center project.
• Manage $20M+ in electrical scope, including budget, schedule, procurement, subcontractors, and performance.
• Coordinate closely with the General Contractor, electrical subcontractors, mechanical trades, design teams, vendors, and field leadership.
• Review drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, change orders, procurement, and schedules.
• Partner with Superintendents and field teams to ensure on-time, on-budget project execution.
• Identify and resolve design, coordination, procurement, and constructability issues.
• Lead project meetings and communicate with owners, consultants, subcontractors, and leadership.

Our client is a large, established general contractor seeking a Senior MEP Project Manager to join their team on a major data center project in Texas.

This is a high-profile, technically complex project requiring an experienced MEP leader who can manage significant electrical scope, coordinate with multiple stakeholders, and drive the project from preconstruction through completion.

What You'll Do

• Lead the project management and execution of major electrical/MEP scopes on a large-scale data center project
• Manage $20M+ in electrical scope, including budget, schedule, procurement, subcontractors, and overall project performance
• Coordinate closely with the General Contractor, electrical subcontractors, mechanical trades, design teams, vendors, and field leadership
• Review and manage drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, change orders, procurement, and project schedules
• Partner with Superintendents and field teams to ensure project execution stays on schedule and within budget
• Identify and resolve design, coordination, procurement, and constructability issues
• Lead project meetings and maintain strong communication with owners, consultants, subcontractors, and internal leadership
• Monitor financial performance, forecasting, schedule milestones, and overall project progress
• Help drive safety, quality, and successful project delivery from preconstruction through closeout

What We're Looking For

• 7+ years of experience managing large-scale electrical construction projects
• Experience as an MEP Manager with a General Contractor or Senior Project Manager with an electrical contractor
• Proven experience managing $20M+ electrical scopes
• Strong understanding of electrical construction, project management, scheduling, procurement, and subcontractor management
• Experience with data centers, mission critical, industrial, advanced manufacturing, or other technically complex projects is strongly preferred
• Ability to work effectively with both field and office teams
• Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
• Must be willing to travel and work on projects throughout Texas

Location

The current project is in Texas, with future project opportunities requiring travel within the state.

Candidates currently based in Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, or Mississippi are preferred.

Compensation

$150,000–$210,000 base salary, depending on experience.
