Job summary

The Weitz Company is seeking an MEP Project Manager for our Phoenix, AZ unit who is open to travel. You will oversee multiple projects, manage schedules and budgets, and lead field teams to ensure quality and safety.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of field/project construction management with data center experience, strong leadership, and excellent communication. Travel and collaboration across teams are essential to success.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of field and project construction management experience; Data Center experience preferred.
• Ten+ years overall field/project mgmt experience preferred.
• Ability to lead teams, mentor others, in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Construct project per plans, schedule, specs and standards.
• Lead subcontractors and field staff on site.
• Model project safety per company policy.
• Coordinate with Project Manager to manage schedule, budget and staffing.
• Develop and maintain two-week look-ahead schedules.
• Assist with subcontractor buyout and selection.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and schedule improvements.
• Ensure contract terms and obligations are followed and documentation is complete.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
