Job summary

PowerSecure is seeking a seasoned MEP Project Manager to oversee commercial and institutional retrofit and construction projects. You will manage budgets, schedules, safety, and quality across large or multiple scopes, coordinating subcontractors and field teams to meet deadlines and client expectations.

The role requires strong leadership, 7+ years in government contracts, PMP preferred, and proficiency in MS Office; OSHA 30 and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 7+ years of government contract management experience.
• PMP certification preferred.
• Minimum of 6 years of project management in commercial or industrial construction.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, Project).
• OSHA 30 certification; training arranged if not held.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit budget estimates, progress reports, or cost tracking reports.
• Create, maintain, and follow construction schedules with assigned personnel.
• Ensure compliance with local laws for landfills, carting, codes and permitting.
• Maintain safety practices and productive work on site.
• Manage multiple energy efficiency projects concurrently.
• Deliver performance evaluations and coach project personnel.
• Maintain clear communications with clients, executives, subcontractors, and engineers.
• Oversee subcontractors per contract and manage on-site operations.
• Maintain clean, safe work sites and proper waste disposal.
• Develop and maintain project risk plans and QA requirements.
