Suffolk Construction is seeking an MEP Project Manager for Advanced Manufacturing in Dallas, TX. You will oversee mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection resources, manage sub-contractors, bid tabs, submittals, requisitions, and change orders throughout the project lifecycle.

You will collaborate with the A/E team, attend owner and coordination meetings, and ensure compliance with codes and LEED requirements.

Qualifications

• BS in mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, electrical or fire protection engineering.
• 5+ years experience with mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection systems.
• 2+ years project management experience.
• Strong computer skills (MS Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Ability to read and comprehend drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of BIM/VDC coordination and various hit detection programs.
• Knowledge of local/state building codes and LEED requirements.
• Experience with testing, balancing and commissioning practices.

Responsabilités

• Review mechanical bid tabs and Exhibit B in contracts.
• Interview and select MEP sub-contractors.
• Manage day-to-day MEP sub-contractor activities.
• Review and approve MEP monthly requisitions.
• Review and approve MEP change orders.
• Conduct site walks to ensure work progresses per schedule.
• Coordinate with BIM/VDC and Superintendent for schedule alignment.
• Work with A/E to resolve coordination items.
• Review all MEP submittals.
• Obtain documentation from inspections and testing.
