Job summary

TPD® Workforce Solutions partners with a respected mechanical contractor in Camas, WA to hire a Project Manager who will lead mechanical construction projects from preconstruction through commissioning. You will ensure safety, on-time delivery and budget compliance on government, municipal, school and hospital projects.

Responsibilities include managing schedules, budgets, RFIs, change orders and procurement while fostering strong client and trades relationships.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of mechanical construction project management experience.
  • Proven experience managing commercial or industrial mechanical projects with full financial responsibility.
  • Proven track record of success in the mechanical construction industry, preferably with piping, plumbing and HVAC.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client, team and stakeholder engagement.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working with union crews is highly desirable.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:
  • 7+ years of mechanical construction project management experience (or 5+ years with a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management).
  • Proven experience managing commercial or industrial mechanical projects with full financial responsibility.
  • Proven track record of success in the mechanical construction industry, preferably in roles involving piping, plumbing, and HVAC projects
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with clients, team members, and stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience working with union crews is highly desirable
