Job summary

PDMS Design Group, INC. is seeking an MEP Assistant Project Manager / Project Manager to translate client needs into precise MEP construction documents and to manage project schedules. You will coordinate mechanical, electrical, and plumbing drawings with other disciplines, mentor designers, and drive quality control while building strong client relationships.

Travel for site surveys may be required. The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering and brings leadership,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Architectural Engineering required.
• Strong communication, organization, and people skills; accountability and multitasking.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit; knowledge of MS Word/Excel.
• Working knowledge of MEP systems, codes, and project coordination.
• Ability to lead, mentor, and maintain client relationships; travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver accurate, coordinated MEP construction documents.
• Maintain project schedules and quality; support designers and leads.
• Assist with scopes, proposals, contracts, and billing as needed.
• Coordinate workloads and ensure scope/schedule clarity for teams.
• Review work, coach designers, and reduce drawing errors through feedback.
• Represent PDMS Design Group in client meetings and site visits.
• Assist with training and hiring activities; oversee overtime planning.
