Job summary

Gulfstream Strategic Placements, LLC is seeking an experienced MEP Project Manager to lead preconstruction, engineering and field installation of all MEP systems. This is a full-time role with a competitive salary and benefits package.

You will coordinate with engineers, design consultants, subcontractors and owner’s representatives, manage the budget, schedule, quality, and safety, and ensure successful project close-out.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 10+ years' experience in MEP design and field installation.
• Ability to identify design features with cost premiums and propose alternatives.
• Experience presenting technical material; LEED accreditation preferred.
• Strong oral and written communication skills and proficiency with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Develops knowledge of contract documents.
• Leads and develops MEP staff and performs performance appraisals.
• Acts as liaison with engineers, designers, subcontractors, suppliers, inspectors, and owners.
• Manages preconstruction, procurement, budget, quality, safety, coordination, scheduling, installation, commissioning and close-out of MEP projects.

Job description

We are currently looking for MEP Project Manager to complete our team. He/She will be responsible for the preconstruction, engineering and field installation of all MEP systems. This is full time job with awesome salary and benefits package.

Responsibilities:

• Develops a comprehensive working knowledge and understanding of the contract documents.
• Leads supervise and develop all MEP staff, including providing input on or completing performance appraisals.
• Acts as primary liaison in developing and maintaining relationships with engineers, design consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, inspectors, and owner’s representatives.
• Manage the overall MEP preconstruction and procurement, budget, quality, safety, engineering, coordination, scheduling, installation, commissioning, and close-out process, and all activities of Engineer-MEP group.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree and minimum 10 years’ experience with design, cost, sequence, logistics and field installations of M&E systems or equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Able to identify design features that command cost premiums and recommend alternatives that deliver comparable or improved function.
• Ability to present technical material. LEED accreditation preferred.
• Strong oral & written communication skills required. Strong computer skills and a familiarity with Microsoft Office suite of programs.
