Job summary

ColonialWebb is looking for a Project Engineer to support our sales team and achieve revenue growth for our Service Projects team! This activity is design build in nature focusing on owner direct clients.

As a key member of the sales-driven Service Projects group, you will collaborate with clients and the sales team to develop bid scope, estimate work, and prepare proposals, while mentoring operations staff and using tools like XOi and Canvas to streamline workflows.

Qualifications

• Experience in HVAC, Plumbing and/or Electrical Industry.
• Experience in both Sales and/or Service Operations.
• Proficient with laptop and Microsoft Word/Excel.
• Strong keyboarding and data entry skills.
• Knowledge of HVAC and plumbing systems, design and service.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with client and sales team to develop bid scope and strategies.
• Survey and gather information to estimate and propose work (sizes, equipment, drawings, quotes).
• Generate proposal drafts for management and administrative review.
• Perform complete takeoffs and develop accurate estimates for pipeline projects.
• Utilize ColonialWebb procedures for go-no-go, CRM documentation, bid review and signature.
• Provide technical assistance in negotiating contracts and change orders.
• Support Operations Team by reviewing estimates and communicating scope via turnover meetings.
• Mentor installation team and promote use of XOi and Canvas.
