Job summary

Batska Consulting Group is seeking an MEP Assistant Project Manager to support coordination of MEP systems on healthcare, higher education, and public projects in the tristate area.

The role requires a solid understanding of MEP construction, strong coordination skills, and experience with PM tools like MS Project or Primavera. Excellent communication and organization are essential for success in this busy, occupied-facility environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Construction Management.
• 3–5 years of construction industry experience with MEP coordination.
• Experience in healthcare, higher education, institutional, or infrastructure projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support the Project Manager in coordinating MEP systems across all project phases.
• Review and interpret MEP drawings, specs, and submission requirements.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, vendors, and field teams.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, equipment schedules, lead times, changes, and project docs.
• Assist with project forecasting, budgets, and schedules using PM software.
• Prepare meeting minutes and track action items during MEP coordination meetings.
• Develop MEP bid packages and assist procurement per client policies.
