A leading general contractor is seeking an MEP Manager based in Vienna, VA, to oversee the planning and execution of MEP systems in Mission Critical environments. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing large commercial construction projects, strong qualifications in MEP system installation, and expertise in BIM Modeling. This role includes responsibilities for mentoring teams and maintaining project quality and safety standards. Competitive salary range is offered based on experience.

The position is focused in Mission Critical environments, but also helps with Health Care and TI projects. The MEP Manager will often be involved with several projects simultaneously to monitor progress and quality, assist during critical evolutions and aid in problem solving of emergent issues. This individual will be, in many cases, representing Clune both in project related activities as well as business development settings. Responsibilities include overseeing MEP modeling tasks on projects, reviewing critical MEP related submittals for suitability, review startup and commissioning strategy, review load bank strategy, provide potential solutions for MEP related RFIs, track MEP construction progress, assist project team with MEP deliverables.. Essential Functions: • Support Project Management Team with Preconstruction MEP information management • Support and schedule 3D Model coordinator for assigned projects. • Track MEP related MOPs and cutover activities for assigned projects. • Coordinator commissioning documentation with subcontractors, vendors, and commissioning agent. • Process Vendor startup and commissioning. • Assist with organizing MEP client training. • Train and provide guidance to MEP Team on MEP concepts and installation details.
