Job summary

Legends Global at NRG Park in Houston, Texas is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic MEP I to join our Engineering team. Under general supervision, you will perform skilled work maintaining HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life-safety systems, with ability to lift heavy objects and work long hours during events.

The role requires EPA Type I/II/III, a High School Diploma or GED, and 2 years in building mechanical systems. On-call, after-hours and weekend support expecting flexibility.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; related experience may substitute.
• EPA Certification TYPE I, II or III is required.
• Two years’ experience operating/mechanical systems incl. HVAC, plumbing, electrical and life safety.

Responsibilities

• Assist other maintenance mechanics with routine preventive maintenance on electrical equipment, motors, controllers, and electro/mechanical devices.
• Respond to building service calls and troubleshoot facility issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on domestic water systems and related mechanical systems.
• Operate and repair HVAC equipment and electrical systems as needed.
