Job summary

Twining, Inc., a century-old engineering, testing and inspection company, seeks an MEP Inspector to support our Los Angeles World Airports contract, based at the LAWA project site in Los Angeles. The role involves inspecting electrical installations and ensuring compliance with codes and standards.

Duties include HVAC rough and finish inspections, elevator and escalator inspections, plumbing installations both above and below ground, reviewing monthly progress payments, and producing clear

Qualifications

• 3+ years of elevator/escalator inspections experience including safety compliance, operational assessment, visual inspections, and functional testing.
• Ability to write clear and effective reports and work with Microsoft Office and specialized software.

Responsibilities

• Inspect rough and finish HVAC installations.
• Review and approve monthly progress payment and as-built drawings from contractor.
• Perform elevator and escalator inspections including safety, operational testing and visual checks.
• Oversee plumbing installations including pumps, piping, ducts, equipment, controls and underground piping as needed.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders.
