Job summary

AbbVie in Texas is seeking a maintenance professional to plan maintenance activities and provide technical support to the facility. This role collaborates with Engineering and Maintenance teams with minimal supervision to optimize resources and maintain safe, compliant operations.

You will plan demand, preventive and predictive maintenance, assign Maximo work orders, prioritize safety and quality, and coordinate with supply chain to minimize downtime while supporting continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or 3+ years in manufacturing, maintenance, planning, scheduling, or logistics.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel experience required.
• Understanding of production processes and planning.
• Experience with cross-functional collaboration and scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Plan all facets of maintenance including demand, preventive and predictive work, and assign Maximo work orders.
• Prioritize safety- and quality-impacting maintenance to ensure quick responses.
• Coordinate with supply chain and operations to minimize downtime and align maintenance timing with inventory.
• Support engineering and other technical efforts as needed.
• Deliver Maintenance Excellence Program (MEP) results and coordinate with the MEP team to satisfy expectations.
• Lead maintenance shutdown coordination including labor, resources, and materials.
• Capture and implement continuous improvement actions to automate tasks.
• Advance the MEP program through its phases as required.
