Job summary
KODIAK Construction Recruiting & Staffing is seeking a seasoned Construction Trades Superintendent for Richmond, VA to lead field talent across large MEP projects, ensuring safe, productive, and high-quality execution. You will oversee manpower planning, craft deployment, and labor forecasting, coordinating with Operations, Superintendents, and Project Managers to align schedules with workforce needs.
This role requires 10+ years as a superintendent on complex commercial/industrial builds,
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience as a Superintendent on large, complex commercial or industrial construction projects.
- Strong background in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) construction.
- Experience managing large craft labor forces across multiple job sites.
- Bilingual English/Spanish required.
Responsibilities
- Workforce Planning & Craft Deployment: evaluate trades, assign crews, develop labor forecasts.
- Field Operations & Leadership Alignment: partner with leadership to align manpower with projects.
- Talent Development & Succession Planning: identify leaders and support training and pipeline growth.
- Success Metrics: forecast accuracy, reduced shortages, improved productivity and safety.
