Job summary

Hoar is seeking an experienced MEPF Superintendent to support the General or Senior Superintendent and oversee mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection on a construction project in College Station, Texas. You will coordinate multiple crews, plan procedures, ensure quality and safety, and verify submittals align with specifications.

You will review drawings, manage QA/QC, monitor schedules/budgets, and collaborate with trades and owners to resolve issues.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Building Science, Construction Mgmt, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
5-7 years of experience in the construction industry with commercial/industrial projects.
In-depth knowledge of mechanical, electrical and plumbing techniques.
Knowledge of construction documents, building codes and installation standards.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and manage daily field objectives, timelines and goals.
Monitor project progress and ensure consistency, efficiency and quality of delivery.
Review project schedule and budget with Senior Superintendents; coordinate with subcontractors for recovery plans.
Review drawings to ensure conformance with project specifications and coordinate with controls and commissioning teams.
Manage safety on site through inspections, training, and meetings with staff and subcontractors.
Support QA/QC and maintain project logs, reports and as-builts as required.
Assist with planning of phased work, temporary power/lighting, and coordination with trades for outages and start-up.
