Job summary

GreenBridge is seeking an experienced MEP Estimator to join our preconstruction team on major ground-up and renovation projects. The role welcomes electrical or mechanical estimating backgrounds and focuses on delivering accurate, competitive cost proposals for complex infrastructure programs.

You’ll work with preconstruction and project teams to analyze drawings, develop budgets, solicit bids, and benchmark data to sharpen estimate accuracy, with strong collaboration and clear cost

Qualifications

• 3+ years of estimating experience in commercial, industrial, or heavy civil construction with a focus on electrical or mechanical systems.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent industry experience).
• Strong quantity takeoff and cost estimating skills; proficiency with estimating software.
• Ability to read and interpret complex electrical or mechanical drawings and specifications.
• Experience with General Contractors or self-perform trade contractors is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs and cost estimates for electrical and/or mechanical scopes across project phases.
• Analyze drawings, specifications, and subcontractor/vendor proposals to develop accurate pricing.
• Solicit, evaluate, and level subcontractor and supplier bids for MEP trade packages.
• Collaborate with preconstruction, project management, and self-perform teams to align estimates with means, methods, and schedule.
• Identify scope gaps, value engineering opportunities, and cost/schedule risks early in the process.
