Job summary

T&M Associates is seeking an Electrical Engineer/Designer with 3-5 years of experience to join our MEP team in New Jersey. The ideal candidate will contribute to the design of electrical systems for commercial, institutional, and residential facilities and will further develop technical skills and project responsibility within a collaborative team environment.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• 3–5 years of building electrical systems design experience.
• AutoCAD proficiency required; Revit experience preferred.
• EIT preferred or on track to obtain.
• Strong communication skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Support and contribute to the design of electrical systems for commercial, institutional, and residential projects.
• Prepare drawings, calculations, and construction documents.
• Participate in project meetings and coordinate with project teams.
• Perform field surveys and assist with construction administration.
• Apply applicable codes and standards to design work.
