Job summary

Corvant in Florida is seeking a Mechanical Drafting Technician for large commercial MEP construction projects. The Drafting Technician supports the design and planning of HVAC and plumbing systems, creating and reviewing technical drawings, managing submittals, and assisting project managers to align documentation with project goals.

You will work with internal teams, subcontractors, and vendors, using Revit, AutoCAD and Navisworks to produce accurate shop drawings and coordinated models, while

Qualifications

• Associate degree or certification in Drafting or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD and other Autodesk tools.
• Knowledge of HVAC and plumbing systems and codes.

Responsibilities

• Create, update, and maintain accurate HVAC and plumbing drawings in Revit and AutoCAD.
• Manage submittals, RFIs, and documentation within timelines.
• Coordinate with engineers and project teams to develop buildable designs.
• Support project managers with schedules, forecasts, and coordination drawings.
• Assist with document management and version control across the project lifecycle.
