Job summary

Corvant is seeking a Mechanical Drafting Technician to support the design and drafting of HVAC and plumbing systems for large commercial projects. You will create and review technical drawings and manage submittals while coordinating with engineers, PMs, and teams to ensure alignment with project goals.

The role emphasizes Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and document control, with collaboration across internal and external stakeholders to deliver accurate, constructible designs.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in drafting and design for HVAC and plumbing systems.

Responsibilities

• Create, update, and maintain technical drawings for HVAC and plumbing systems using Revit, AutoCAD, and allied Autodesk tools.
• Prepare, review, and manage submittals ensuring accuracy, organization, and timely submission.
• Provide drafting and design support to project managers with drawings, schedules, and forecasts.
• Assist in scheduling and forecasting, coordinating with teams to reflect progress and material needs.
• Utilize Viewpoint Teams to manage documents, submittals, RFIs, and coordination drawings.
• Maintain organized documentation and version control across the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with internal teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure design integrity and clear communication.
