Job summary

Environmental Air Systems, a full-service mechanical contractor, seeks a Construction Support Designer to provide drafting, design, and engineering support for ductwork, piping, air handling units, and controls across projects. This salaried role involves collaboration with manufacturing plants, Envirotrol, and field teams, with potential travel to job sites.

An associate degree and at least three years of experience are required, along with proficiency in Navisworks, REVIT, and AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• Two-year associate degree in mechanical design or related field.
• Minimum of three years applied experience.
• Strong communication and design skills.
• Experience with Navisworks, REVIT, and AutoCAD/AutoCAD MEP.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain models and drawings for takeoff, coordination, fabrication, installation.
• Ensure documents and models meet job specs and submittal info.
• Lead design drafting activities under the Construction Design Manager.
• Review drawings for accuracy and assist team members.
• Track project schedules and manage overtime when needed.
• Coordinate with field, shops, and project teams using virtual meeting tools and Navisworks/ BIM platforms.
