Job summary

Corvant is seeking a Mechanical Drafting Technician to support large commercial MEP construction projects in Florida. The role focuses on drafting and coordination for HVAC and plumbing systems, using Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks while managing submittals and RFIs.

Collaboration with internal teams, subcontractors, and vendors is essential to ensure accurate, timely documentation. The ideal candidate will have experience with Autodesk tools, Plus Bluebeam and ProjectSight, and a solid

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD and Navisworks for drafting and design.
• Familiarity with Bluebeam and ProjectSight for document management.
• Strong understanding of HVAC and plumbing systems and related codes.

Responsibilities

• Create, update, and maintain accurate technical drawings for HVAC and plumbing systems.
• Coordinate with engineers and PMs to develop constructible designs and shop drawings.
• Prepare and manage submittals, RFIs, and project documentation.
• Support project managers with drawings, schedules, and forecasts.
• Participate in meetings to provide technical input and clarify design elements.
• Ensure organized documentation and version control across the project lifecycle.
