Job summary

CPH is seeking a Mechanical Designer to join the MEP team in Sanford, FL or Green Bay, WI. The role focuses on HVAC or plumbing design for commercial and municipal projects with collaboration across disciplines.

The candidate should have experience with REVIT/AutoCAD, strong communication, and ability to work both independently and in teams. Salary range reflects market rates and offers comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

Minimum of three years of experience in an A/E or Consulting Firm, Construction Contractor, or equivalent environment.
Vocational school training or Associate’s degree as minimum; BSME with EIT a plus.
Proficiency in REVIT and AutoCAD.
Proficiency with MS Office Suite and Bluebeam.
Experience in Commercial Retail, Restaurants, Office Buildings, Industrial, and Public Sector is preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform Building Load Calculations using Trane Trace 700 and complete Outside Air Calculations.
Develop HVAC design including equipment selection to codes and standards.
Develop duct and piping layouts and size systems.
Produce Construction Documents for Mechanical Designs in REVIT/CAD.
Coordinate with multi-disciplinary team to streamline workflow.
Manage REVIT/AutoCAD files, plotting and archiving.
