Job summary

Haddad Plumbing and Heating Inc. seeks a Drafter to join our design and project support team in Newark, NJ. You will convert designs into precise 2D and 3D CAD drawings for mechanical construction, collaborating with managers, engineers, and architects to ensure compliance with codes and project requirements.

Proficiency in AutoCAD MEP or Revit is required, with Navisworks or SysQue experience a major plus. This full-time on-site role offers a robust benefits package and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of drafting experience in plumbing, HVAC, or mechanical trades.
• Proficient with AutoCAD MEP or Revit; Navisworks or SysQue a plus.
• Strong ability to read and interpret complex architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.

Responsibilities

• Create 2D shop drawings and 3D models for mechanical, plumbing, and ductwork.
• Draft layouts using AutoCAD MEP and Revit for commercial projects.
• Run clash-detection workflows with Navisworks to resolve spatial conflicts.
