Job summary

Pogue Construction Company is seeking an MEP Director to lead strategic oversight of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection across multiple projects. You will act as the senior technical resource, ensuring quality, safety, schedule adherence, and budget control while guiding design coordination and team mentorship.

The role requires a strong background in MEP systems, extensive construction experience, and proven leadership across complex building projects.

Qualifications

Advanced knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and building automation systems.
Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Navisworks, and MS Project; Revit a plus.
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, construction mgmt, or related field.
10 years of construction experience with strong MEP focus.

Responsibilities

Lead and oversee all MEP-related activities across the portfolio of projects.
Develop and implement company-wide MEP standards, best practices, and quality control measures.
Mentor project teams and field personnel in MEP coordination and execution.
Review design documents for constructability, coordination, and value engineering opportunities.
Lead BIM/VDC coordination, clash detection, and model integration for MEP.
