Job summary

McGough is seeking an MEP Project Engineer to provide technical and coordination support for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and building systems throughout all project phases.

You will work under the MEP Project Manager to assist with design coordination, procurement, field execution, commissioning, and closeout, maintaining strong relationships with owners, architects, and subcontractors.

Qualifications

• Read drawings, specs and contract documents to understand project scope and owner requirements.
• Experience with coordination across disciplines and design review processes.
• Familiarity with BIM coordination and construction documentation.

Responsibilities

• Support pre-construction with design coordination and bid package preparation.
• Coordinate MEP subcontractors and review submittals and RFIs.
• Monitor procurement, equipment deliveries, and installation schedules.
• Conduct field observations and ensure safety and quality standards.
• Assist with commissioning plans and owner turnover activities.
• Collaborate across operations, safety, and field teams.
